"Every living person needs to see this. This was an incredible and unique interpretation of our relationship to nature.”
"Beautiful, captivating, question my life choices with nature, not taking it for granted anymore.”
Powerful, just in awe...
"I like that each element of nature has their own personality, through both the vocal and movements. Yet, stayed connected as a whole; this is PHENOMENAL.”
"I was holding back tears. Incredibly moving combination of music and dance.”

Comments collected from PROSPECTS work-in-progress showing hosted by Aeris Körper

"Bodies of Nature" or "BON" is an experimental dance performance that explores the familial relationship between Mother Nature's children. Join us in the immersive cross-genre dance experience that bring people and nature together through spoken word, music, and dance.

This show is open to everyone! Whether you’re a community member, a dance artist, a climate change advocate, or a person who loves art, let’s come together on a night of dance and engage in a conversation about Nature Conservation.

Encouragement to the audience

We want to invite you to look deeply into yourself and see that nature lives within us, like the water is the blood that flows in our veins. And then look outward and realize that the forests are lungs outside our bodies. All the elements of nature exist both inside and outside our bodies. Yet, we are conditioned to think only about our small self, body, while we destroy our large self, nature. To be our true selves is to live and care for both.

“we have to meditate on being the river so that we can experience within ourselves the fears and hopes of the river. If we cannot feel the rivers, the mountains, the air, the animals, and other people from within their own perspective, the rivers will die and we will lose our chance for peace”

Thich Nhat Hanh, Buddhist monk, global spiritual leader, poet, and peace activist.
